More framing…

For most of the framing I’m using 2x3s. However, I found a slight problem after a few trips to the lumber yard. I quickly realized that most of the 2x3s in the rack were twisted and warped quite badly. But, at Home Depot I found finger joined 2x3s, of which, almost all of them were straight. They are just as strong as regular 2x3s under compression, so they’ll be great for common studs and sole plates but for headers and top plates I’ll have to sort through the rack to get straight 2x3s. They also eliminate having to get all the crowns the same way or worrying about twisting and warping later on.
